What are brush pens and what can they be used for?

Storing brush pens properly

The best way to store brush pens is horizontally in a container or box. This ensures equal ink distribution and prevents them from drying out.

The pens should also be stored in a cool, dry place. The lids must be firmly attached to keep the ink moist.

Are brush pens insoluble in water?

There are various types of brush pens with different types of ink. Some of them, such as the  Pentel Brush Sign Pen Pigment , are insoluble in water. Water doesn’t make the ink smudge or run once it’s dry.

How do you hold a calligraphy pen correctly?

Hold the calligraphy pen at an angle of around 45 degrees to the paper’s surface. Press lightly to produce thinner lines and harder for thicker ones. 

Try out different movements and angles to control the line width and direction.
