P-Touch Stencil Tape STe-141

The original Brother STe-141 stencil tape with white text on a transparent background (non-adhesive) was specially developed for electrolytic labeling. It is equipped with a temperature-sensitive layer that contains ink or a special liquid for the direct marking of electrically conductive surfaces or metal parts. When printing the stencil, small holes are integrated, which ensure that the electrolyte penetrates the tape during the subsequent etching process. A stamp with marking felt or similar is placed on the tape and pressed into the metal (required electrochemical equipment not available from Brother). Finally, the metal discolors and is permanently marked with a serial number, a barcode, or a logo.
