Print Ribbons
In this process, also known as direct card printing, the cards are printed by heating the various panels of the ribbons with a print head.
- The 3 primary colors (yellow, magenta, and cyan) of the panels are applied to the substrate one after the other using sublimation printing. This allows a resolution of 300 dpi to be achieved and guarantees a professional result.
- To achieve perfect readability of texts and barcodes, these are printed with a black panel using the thermal transfer process.
- Subsequently, the printed card is sealed with a protective varnish layer, ensuring high image quality and optimal protection for cards that can be used for up to 3 years.
