A look back into the past. Scan the stamps using the Post-App and travel back in time to 1915. In 1912, Pro Juventute was founded to combat the spread of tuberculosis – financed by the sale of a charity stamp. The stamp surcharge continues to benefit the foundation’s projects to this day. In 1912, Swiss Post allowed Pro Juventute to sell a 10-centime stamp that was not valid for postage, and so the popular stamp set began. The current stamps are a remake of the 1915 postage stamps. Incidentally, the original design from back then can be seen on the current stamps using UV light – get ready for some surprises!
