2022 Year book of Swiss stamps
Year upon year, it brings together all stamps newly issued in Switzerland, constitutes a fascinating chronicle and, as a unique record of our times, is itself a collector’s item: the year book of Swiss Stamps. The 2022 issue is now even more attractive. Every year from now on, an artist will be invited to take a deep dive into the issues and themes covered by the stamps and create a visual world for the year book. The well established format will be retained. It will of course still contain all original stamps in the issue programme, as well as images of the cancellations and a black print. With its new look and fresh articles, the year book invites you to go on a journey of discovery, experience some surprises and read fascinating stories. Its feel has also been changed: high-quality paper, cover with image section and a spine made of linen – a worthy framework for the small-scale works of art. The first revamped issue features photographer Moritz Schermbach, who studied art and photography at Zurich University of the Arts until 2016. With his eye focused on scenery, he has produced a series of images for the 2022 year book that tie together the many issues and themes covered by the stamps in the collection. Running to 140 pages, the 2022 year book presents 55 original stamps, making it a good idea for a gift – for yourself or for your loved ones.
