Maximum card «Upcycling – From Swiss Post clothing to stamps»
Picture 1 of 1

For over 20 years, the uniform of Swiss Post branch employees comprised a yellow shirt or blouse coupled with a scarf or tie and grey trousers or a skirt. In 2025, this uniform was given a fresh new look. As an homage to the previous uniform and in tribute to the employees who helped shape it, the discarded fabrics were given new life. The residual materials from the old uniforms were used to create this postage stamp. The anthracite-coloured elements are based on the blazer worn with the shirts and blouses, and the serrated edge refers to the traditional zigzag scissors used for cutting fabric. Find out more about the history of Swiss Post clothing in the blog “175 years of “yellow” fashion: a review of Swiss Post’s uniforms” (available in German).
